Kevin’s 30th birthday

Kevin’s 30th was a very posh affair.  We were all instructed to dress smart and to come prepared to talk about grown up things such as children, schools and mortgages.

Newstead Abbey

I took my parents to see Newstead Abbey, Lord Byron’s home. We wanted some interesting things to point our cameras at and the gardens did not disappoint us. The house itself was not open and the gardens a bit bare so I’ll be heading back in spring/summer for another look.

Lizzie’s Silly Birthday

Lizzie decided to celebrate her birthday this year by also celebrating all things silly. There were obstacle courses, a den, silly games, a poop chart and of course jelly.  We were told that “anything goes as long as it is silly!” Sillyness was expected in dress, food, behaviour, games and every other aspect of the evening.
